Wales' Newest Lacrosse Club - Llantwit Major LC! |
Thanks to the hard work of Local Development Officer Ryan Wallace and Mrs Leanne Pownall from
Llantwit Major Secondary School, the WLA is proud to unveil Llantwit Major Lacrosse Club. Players from
the secondary school as well as promising youngsters from local primary schools Eagle's Well and
Llaniltud Fawr are the founding players for the club, which is eagerly anticipating entry into the
Welsh Mixed Lacrosse League in the new year.
The club will be based at Llantwit Major Leisure Centre, and anyone interested in joining the team will

Llantwit Major LC may never have been established. |

Welsh Lacrosse Needs You! |
The WLA is keen to attract anyone interested in obtaining coaching qualifications in order to
continue the development of lacrosse in their area. We are looking for parents, teachers, university
students, sixth formers, former players - in fact, anyone who is keen to get involved in their local
club or even start their own!
Costs for coaching qualifications may be covered by local grants set up to aid sport development in
